Service Information Day & Traditions Workshop – District 8, Area 86

Join District 8 – Area 86 for a Service Information Day & Traditions Workshop on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at New Life Church, 28 Tracy Lane, Collingwood, Ontario.

This year’s theme, “Our Three Legacies” — Recovery, Unity, and Service, invites members to come explore the heart of A.A. service and learn more about how we can participate in and support the Fellowship.

Event Schedule:

• Doors Open: 9:00 a.m.
• Program Begins: 9:30 a.m.
• Program Concludes: 2:45 p.m.
• Potluck Lunch: 12:30 p.m.

The day will include:

• The 12 Traditions — exploring their origins, purpose, and how they guide our groups and Fellowship
• District 8 Service — learn about ways members can participate, including Archives, Grapevine, PI/CPC, Bridging the Gap, Treatment, Hybrid Technology, and Service Sponsorship
• A Special Presentation by the Alternate Delegate – Area 86, along with a conversation about Rotation in Service and why service matters

A potluck lunch will be shared at 12:30 p.m., so attendees are encouraged to bring a dish to share and enjoy a time of fellowship and conversation.

Everyone is welcome — whether you’re new to service or have been serving for years, come learn, share, and discover where you might fit.
